Application Process (ZH_HANT)

Six easy steps to guide you through the application process.

1. Fill in the application form

You can apply online for our courses directly through our website. Simply click “Apply Now” on the course page of your choice. You will then be prompted to create an account, which will allow you to manage your application from start to finish.

Applying through BISE is at no additional cost to you and is designed to increase your chances of being offered a place.

2. Upload supporting documentation

Supporting documentation requirements vary depending on the course you are applying for. Our individual course pages will tell you what is required for each course and when you apply you will receive a tailored application checklist of supporting documents for your application. Generally, we require documents, such as:

  • a copy of your bachelor’s degree certificate
  • proof of English ability
  • ENIC Statement (if applicable)
  • a copy of your CV.

We recommend that you upload as many of the required documents as possible at the application stage to avoid delays.

3. BISE application screening

BISE provides a free application screening service to all applicants.

Once submitted, your application will be reviewed by a member of our expert admissions team to determine if you meet the eligibility criteria set out by the University of Buckingham.

When the review has been completed, a member of the admissions team will contact you to let you know the readiness of your application and what you need to do next.

4. Admissions interview (if required)

Currently, two of our courses require candidates to take part in a mandatory admissions interview:

This interview is a great opportunity to talk about your motivation and study aspirations and to ask any questions you may have related to the course. The PGCE interview is conducted by a member of the BISE admissions team, whilst the EdD interview will be with the course lead at the university.

Telephone interviews with a member of the BISE admissions team are sometimes required with applicants to other courses if details of their application require further clarification.

5. Application submission

If your application has met the minimum entry criteria, our team will submit your application directly to the University of Buckingham.

The University of Buckingham will then process your application and you will be asked to pay a non-refundable course registration fee of £300 to the university.

The university will also contact you directly about any outstanding documentation, so make sure to check your inbox regularly (including your spam folders).

If you have any questions about your application or need help with supporting documentation at this stage, the BISE admissions team is still here to help.

6. Offer letter issued!

Congratulations on making it onto the course! You will receive an offer letter, which you will need to sign and return before your place can be confirmed.

Please note: whilst the BISE application screening significantly increases your chance of acceptance onto the course, final decisions on offer letters are made solely by the university.
