BISE Celebrates the Opening of Its Hong Kong Office with a Launch Event for Education Leaders

BISE is pleased to announce the official opening of its Hong Kong Office, marking an important step in extending our teacher-training programmes and professional development services to Hong Kong and the broader Asia region. To celebrate this milestone, BISE hosted a Launch Event attended by education leaders, school heads, teachers, and representatives from key organisations, including the British Council.

The event opened with a welcome address from Chris Woodward, Director General for Trade and Investment at the British Consulate General Hong Kong., highlighting the importance of UK-Hong Kong collaboration in education.

Guests then heard from Professor Barnaby Lenon, CBE, Dean of Education at the University of Buckingham, who reflected on his experience establishing Harrow Hong Kong and shared insights into the opportunities and challenges within Hong Kong’s education landscape.

Toby Mullins, CEO of BISE, introduced the organisation’s mission and strategic direction, presenting BISE’s portfolio of high-quality, research-informed teacher-training courses and services for educators across the region.

The opening of the Hong Kong Office represents a significant milestone in BISE’s growth. We look forward to supporting professional development in Hong Kong and strengthening collaboration with schools and education partners throughout Asia.
